Where Local Identity Meets Future Lifestyle - A New Chapter of Retail Experience.

This project is a major architectural expansion of the S Outlet, designed to strengthen commercial performance while embedding regional identity and improving urban functionality. Drawing inspiration from the local symbol of the lily flower, the development integrates cultural motifs with sustainable strategies to enhance place-based resonance. Alongside its visual expression, the project addresses key operational issues, including pedestrian circulation, traffic congestion, and parking capacity.

Design Approach

Exterior zones are woven into shopping flows, blending retail with landscape through varied canopies, colour, and materiality. Local references appear throughout, from double-skin façades inspired by floral patterns to the use of regional brick and planting, reinforcing the outlet’s connection to its cultural and physical context.

Architecture & Experience

The layout combines tower-type and street-style retail forms, connected through a climate-responsive atrium and anchored by multi-level parking with streamlined circulation. Lightweight ETFE canopy structures provide protection and spatial clarity while maintaining an outdoor feel.
