A new mixed-use district for St. Helier, connecting the historic town to a newly reactivated civic and residential water-front quarter.

Appointed through a high-profile design competition led by the Jersey Development Company (“JDC”) in conjunction with the Design Council, Gillespies & Heta Architects were selected to lead the designs for four of the Key Opportunity sites within the area covered by the Southwest St Helier Planning Framework (SWSHPF).

The scheme will deliver significant new community spaces, including 32,301m² of commercial, social infrastructure, cultural and leisure facilities, including an indoor kids’ zone, up to 1,000 new homes and over 65,755m² of vibrant, fully accessible public realm.
